Put'N'Take
General Information about Put'N'Take: Thanks to Ed Gaidia, he wrote to
us to tell us about Jimmy Johnson, who owned Western Equipment and supply
on North Avenue. This game was first produced in 1936 and was the first
game produced by Western. Jimmy held 80 patents and were used by many of
the giants in the coin-op industry.
Comments:After 11 years of being used as a desk due to non operation,
the game is fully operational now. The coin or coins are paid out when you get a "take"
When you get a "put" you have lost your nickel to the machine.
originally wired with a step down transformer to power the coil, now wired
with a small switching power supply. very low voltage
The highest payout is 100 or $1.00 the smallest payout is a dime.
Condition: Pretty good shape. A few scratches on the cabinet and it
looks like the playfield was touched up at some point in its life, but the
colors are right on and it is hard to tell. We have replaced the playfield glass
with a brand new tempered piece of glass. you may also have it's original
glass which is is plate, the corner is nicked off but still usable.
This game is an antique and deserves a good home.
Price: $950
